Creamy Deviled Eggs Dip: Best 5-Ingredient Party Recipe

  • Author: maria_scott
  • Total Time: 27 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Description

A rich, tangy, and silky smooth deviled eggs dip made with just five ingredients. This quick party appetizer is perfect for entertaining, naturally gluten-free, and ready in under 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • Hard-boiled eggs (large, about a week old for easier peeling)
  • Full-fat mayonnaise (e.g., Duke’s or Hellmann’s)
  • Dijon mustard
  • Worcestershire sauce (e.g., Lea & Perrins)
  • Smoked paprika
  • Sea salt
  • Fresh chives (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil eggs in a single layer covered with cold water. Bring to a boil, remove from heat, cover, and let sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Immediately transfer eggs to an ice bath to cool completely.
  3. Peel the cooled eggs under running water and cut them in half lengthwise.
  4. Scoop out the yolks into a large mixing bowl, keeping the whites intact or discarding them.
  5. Mash the yolks with a fork until completely smooth with no visible chunks.
  6. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce to the yolks. Mix thoroughly until incorporated.
  7. Add smoked paprika and sea salt. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a shallow serving dish and smooth the top.
  9. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld and texture to firm up.
  10. Garnish with fresh chopped chives and a dusting of smoked paprika before serving.

Notes

Use eggs that are about a week old for easier peeling. Ensure ingredients are cold to maintain a firm, scoopable texture. If the dip is too thick, add a teaspoon of water or extra mayo. If too thin, chill longer or add more yolk. Do not freeze this dip as the texture will become grainy.
